U.S. energy-related CO2 emissions declined by 11% in 2020

Based on data in EIA's Monthly Energy Review, energy-related carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions decreased by 11% in the United States in 2020 primarily because of the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and related restrictions.
